Pooh-related Sites -- General

Pooh's Page
This is the "official" Pooh web page, put out by the people at Penguin, which is the company which includes Dutton Publishing. You can find information about the author and illustrator (not quite as intensive as my own), as well as info on how to order the books that Dutton puts out. The site also has some ideas on how to celebrate Pooh's 70th birthday, which happens to be Oct. 14, 1996 (unless you've been watching the discussion on the alt.fan.pooh newsgroup, in which case no one knows when his birthday is...).

100 Acre Wood
This is a good general Pooh site to visit. There's a copy of the Pooh FAQ, a survey on your favorite character, and some trivia questions to test you on your knowlegde of Pooh. (Don't cheat and read the Pooh FAQ first!)

The Hunny Lover's Homepage
Once you get past the initial download of the opening page (would you believe, an animated image map!), you find a nice assortment of material here to keep you occupied. Information about Pooh, some images and sounds... It's modem-intensive, but I love the design of this page.

Tracey's Pooh-Page
There's a little bit of everything on this page. Some sound files in .au format, some pics of Pooh, and some of the Pooh items that Tracey has collected.

Richard Sun's Winnie the Pooh Page
A copy of the FAQ, a small number of pictures, some quotes, ASCII art, and a quiz are all waiting to be found at this site.

Pooh's Place
This site contains some general Pooh information and quotes, as well as a large list of links on the WWW based according to each character's personality.

The World of Winnie the Pooh
You can find a large number of Disney pics here, as well as an automated storybook, links galore, some brief history, and a few other treats. Wait a while on the first page, and you'll hear the theme song in the background.

Winnie the Pooh
One of the first "Other Sites" I found. This is just a small humourous page that explains Pooh's research interests, were he a scientist.

Kroneberger's Classic Pooh
I'm not one to normally promote commercial sites, but this store is devoted to classic Pooh, and has such a large selection of items that I don't normally see in other stores, that I thought it might be beneficial to you all.

Pooh in different languages.
The title just about says it all. Learn how to say "Pooh" in a variety of languages. (Although, I had a fan write to say that they didn't have the Japanese translation. It's "Kuma no Pooh-san")

Avery's P-Piglet & P-Pals P-Page
Although the majority of this page is links with a few pictures, the poetry on the page makes it worth a visit.

The Wheel of Pooh
A parody based on the Wheel of Time books written by Robert Jordan.

Disney.com
Disney has brought the Pooh stories to millions of people, as well as countless other animated classics. Visit their site to check out what's in the future, or just see what they're doing with The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, or even the release of their original full-length movie, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Hundremeterskogen
This site is for all of the Norwegian-speaking Pooh lovers in the world. Eirik Refsdal has translated the Pooh FAQ and some other sites into Norwegian.

Nalle Puhs Hörna
Well, now we have a site for Swedish-speaking Pooh lovers as well. All other language speakers might want to visit for some charming animation as well.

Nasses sida!Another page in Swedish! This one is focused more on Piglet, but the rest of the gang makes an appearance. I'm afraid that I don't know much in the way of Swedish, or I'd tell you more, but the author was kind enough to include a small glossery of terms to help translate into English.

[NEW] sites are sites that have been added to this list within the past month (or so...)

Did I miss anything? I'm always on the lookout for more Pooh sites on the Internet. If you've found one that I don't have listed here, please let me know!!
