I win my first game of Pooh Sticks!

Poohsticks is that simple game Pooh created on a bridge in the Hundred Acre Forest. People would drop sticks off one side of the bridge, rush over to the other side, and whoever's stick was seen first was declared the winner. Well, thanks to the Internet, people from all over the world can join in on this timeless game... (By the way, I'm Clumsy)

This is what happened in game 178...

Everyone gathered together in anticipation. Cate stood on the middle of the
bridge, just mary stood on the middle of the bridge, JungWolf stood on the
left of the bridge, Clumsy stood on the right of the bridge, Grand master Gimp
stood on the at the top of the bridge, Cyn stood on the middle of the bridge,
CelticPiglet stood on the center of the bridge, Binnie stood on the A litle
left of the center, but not too too far. of the bridge and Lana the iguana stood
on the the side closest to Las Vegas of the bridge. Pooh100901 stood in the
first available space.

Then it was time to start the game. Cate dropped a lightweight stick, just
mary dropped a Eeyore's tail, JungWolf dropped a dust covered slide rule,
Clumsy dropped a brownish, with a hint of bark stick, Grand master Gimp
dropped a brown a normal one, Cyn dropped a poohish short, thick, straight,
CelticPiglet dropped a aerodynamic Pine Cone, Binnie dropped a not sappy One
from a pine tree and Lana the iguana dropped a smelly Rusty old tin can with
Elvis stamps stuck to it. Nobody was quite sure what Pooh100901 dropped but it
seemed to float well enough.

Everyone watched as their 'sticks' disappeared under the bridge, then rushed
to the other side to wait for the results...

After waiting for some time, a cheer went up as CelticPiglet spotted the
brownish, with a hint of bark stick belonging to Clumsy. Next came just mary's
Eeyore's tail then Pooh100901's sticklike object, Cyn's poohish short, thick,
straight, Lana the iguana's smelly Rusty old tin can with Elvis stamps stuck
to it, Cate's lightweight stick, CelticPiglet's aerodynamic Pine Cone, Grand
master Gimp's brown a normal one, Binnie's not sappy One from a pine tree and
finally JungWolf's dust covered slide rule.

Afterwards there was much joy and merry-making as all concerned celebrated the
conclusion of another successful game of pooh-sticks. After everyone had
calmed down they all decided to go back to JungWolf's house in the United
States of America for a little smackerel of something.

These are the results from a game played on the old server. Graham Simms, creator of the Internet version of Poohsticks, has created a totally new interface, which makes it incredibly easy for people to play. Check out the Virtual Pooh-Sticks homepage for information on how to register and play.
