In which I take the time to thank some very special people.

Throughout my time in creating these pages, I've had a lot of support, from friends I've always known, to people I met through my effort in tracking down Pooh information. I think it's worth my time to thank these people for all they've done to help me create these pages.

First off, I'd like to thank my roommate and best friend in the world, Tim Smith. He would constantly make jokes about a 20-year old guy spending his time playing around with Winnie the Pooh, and has thus driven me to create a page for kids of all ages. Everyone needs a critic, and who better than the guy that knows you better than anyone else in the world. Besides, if he ever saw this page and his name wasn't listed, I'd never hear the end of it.

Next, I'll thank Mr. Christopher Franceschelli, president of Dutton Publishing. What started as a simple email informing me of copyright infringement on my pages ended up being a series of letters in which Mr. Franceschelli helped me determine the focus of my pages, and the means in which I would present my information.

Next, a large group of people that I've come to known through only email, newsgroup messages, or their web pages. I hope I remember them all. Jo Ann Champion, who always makes my day whenever I see her name in the newsgroup; Dan Rinzel, who graciously gave the world a great Pooh FAQ; David Sherrod, whose own Pooh page makes me envious because of his great writing; Graham Simms, who brought the best game invented to the Internet; Katie Prunka, who has created an incredible web site and kept an eye on my pages for me when I didn't have any Internet access; Glenda Helmick, who always takes the time to write me and provide encouragement; Jill Barrett, who had one of the earliest Pooh web pages around... There's so many more people out there that have created great web sites, like Brandi Keys, Michael Stillwell, Bill Earles, and Olen (I'm sorry, but for some odd reason, I can't remember your last name, and I can't seem to find it. Hopefully, some kind person will inform me of it so that I don't cause you too much trouble), and many, many more. A lot of people have influenced me, mostly by letting me look at their HTML source, usually without their knowledge, or just by their particular style.

Finally, thanks to the two men who gave me a topic for my research. I may have created something of my own, but I based it on the work of Milne and Shepard.
